Rosewood London in London, open May–August.
Rosewood London occupies a landmark Edwardian manor on High Holborn, its Grade II-listed facade and soaring interior volumes setting a register that very few city hotels can match.
The Grand Ballroom is the centrepiece — a high-ceilinged hall dressed with glittering chandeliers, engineered for full staging, a live band, and a proper dance floor without the space ever feeling overwhelmed.
A pair of dramatic staircases rise from the lobby into a balcony that overlooks the Ballroom's foyer, giving ceremonies and receptions a sense of theatrical arrival that is entirely structural, not decorative.
Smaller gatherings move into Sir George, reached via a marble staircase, or The Living Room, a ground-floor lounge where tall windows draw in natural light and the scale stays deliberately intimate.
We had a great time at Rosewood. The check-in with Andrea was very smooth and welcoming, which made for a lovely start to our stay. Our room was nice and comfortable, and we felt at ease right away. Breakfast at Holborn was really tasty, and our waiter Eric was helpful and attentive throughout. We also tried a pie for lunch, which was absolutely delicious and definitely worth recommending. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

Asked along the way.
What is the maximum guest capacity for a wedding?+
The Grand Ballroom is the largest space and comfortably accommodates receptions in the 150–200 guest range with full staging and a dance floor. Intimate ceremonies in Sir George or The Living Room suit parties from around 10 to 60. Rosewood's planning team will confirm exact seated and standing configurations based on your specific layout requirements.
Are exclusive buyouts available?+
Rosewood London does not operate as a dedicated wedding-only venue, but the hotel offers curated group stays with exclusive rates and benefits for large celebrations. Individual event spaces can be contracted exclusively, and the planning team routinely coordinates multi-room programmes that give wedding parties a cohesive, private feel across the Grand Ballroom, Foyer, and smaller rooms simultaneously.
When is the best season to marry here?+
As a fully enclosed, climate-controlled property, Rosewood London operates equally well year-round. Late spring (May–June) and early autumn (September–October) tend to attract couples who want mild weather for exterior photography around Holborn and Covent Garden. Winter dates carry a distinct appeal given the Ballroom's chandelier-lit interiors, and demand is typically lower, which can affect availability and lead times.
What's the food and beverage approach?+
The culinary team builds bespoke menus for each wedding rather than relying on fixed packages. For couples with cultural or religious requirements, the hotel collaborates directly with certified Kosher caterers and specialist Asian culinary teams, integrating them into the event rather than treating them as add-ons. Cocktail and bar programming is handled in-house, drawing on the hotel's reputation for serious mixology.
