Hôtel de Crillon occupies an 18th-century palace on the Place de la Concorde, one of the most architecturally charged addresses in Europe — the kind of building where the symmetry of the façade and the weight of the stone set a tone before guests have crossed the threshold.

Inside, the Salons Historiques have been meticulously restored to their original grandeur: gilded moldings, marble surfaces, and proportions that reward a full room of people without ever feeling cavernous.

The Salon Marie-Antoinette opens onto a private terrace with sightlines to the Eiffel Tower and the Parisian roofline, while the Salon des Aigles — the largest of the event spaces at 60 guests — frames a direct view over the Place de la Concorde below.

Ceremonies and receptions are managed by an in-house events team with established relationships across Paris's top florists, photographers, and decorators, and menus are built to order in collaboration with local producers.

My sisters and I had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel de Crillon for one week, and once again, it was an extraordinary experience from beginning to end. This was not our first visit, and it continues to exceed our expectations every time. From the gentlemen greeting us at the door each day, to the concierge team who thoughtfully curated our reservations and recommendations, to the impeccable housekeeping and the bar and restaurant staff, every interaction reflected true five-star hospitality. The service is warm, intuitive, and consistently flawless. A special thank you to Cedric, the manager, whose leadership is clearly felt throughout the property. His presence, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to guest experience elevate the hotel in a way that is rare even among the world’s finest. It is evident that the culture of excellence begins with him. We have stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, and Hôtel de Crillon remains among the very best. It has become our Paris home, and we will always return.

07 · Questions

Asked along the way.

What is the maximum guest capacity for a wedding?+

The three primary event salons — Salon des Aigles (60 guests), Salon Marie-Antoinette (40 guests), and Salon des Batailles (40 guests) — function as distinct spaces. Used individually, the largest accommodates 60 seated guests. For combined or multi-room celebrations, the events team can advise on configurations that work across the Salons Historiques, though the intimate scale of the property means receptions here are best suited to groups under 100.

Are exclusive buyouts available?+

The hotel does not position itself as a full buyout property in the traditional destination-wedding sense — it is a 124-room operating luxury hotel within a landmark building. However, the Salons Historiques can be reserved exclusively for your event, and the in-house team routinely manages celebrations that occupy multiple floors and suites simultaneously. For true venue exclusivity, the conversation starts with the events team directly.

When is the best season to marry here?+

Late spring (May–June) and early autumn (September–October) offer the most reliable weather for making use of the Salon Marie-Antoinette terrace, where the Eiffel Tower views are a core part of the experience. Paris in July and August is warm but crowded. Winter weddings in the Salons Historiques work exceptionally well given the interior grandeur — candlelit rooms with gilt and marble require no augmentation from the season.

What's the food and beverage approach?+

Menus are built to order in collaboration with the hotel's culinary team and trusted local producers — there is no fixed wedding package menu. The approach is custom from the first planning meeting, with the events team coordinating across courses, dietary requirements, and wine pairings. The hotel's restaurant and bar operation, which runs at a high level day-to-day, informs the standards applied to private dining events.
