Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, open July–October.
Rosewood Miramar Beach sits directly on the Pacific in Montecito, California, where the Santa Ynez Mountains frame the horizon behind you and the ocean fills every sightline in front.
The estate's Manor House anchors the property with the Chandelier Ballroom — a soaring, sunlit room dressed in rich fabrics and lit by twelve Baccarat crystal chandeliers, divisible into four distinct spaces and capable of seating up to 350 guests.
Outside, the Great Lawn stretches across natural grass with unobstructed ocean views, accommodating up to 400 for cocktail receptions or farewell brunches at a scale that feels genuinely grand rather than crowded.
The Event Lawn offers a quieter counterpoint: koi pond, bocce courts, and lush garden borders that make it the natural choice for rehearsal dinners or informal gatherings.
Everything was amazing! We were welcomed to the most amazing amenities. So delicious and wonderful after 3 flights and a long day of travel. We loved the beach experience! Three gorgeous days and every experience was really wonderful and lovely! Kai, (the nice gentleman that works at the front desk), Gabriel, Dominic, Robinette, were all fantastic. Our sushi experience was our favorite meal and our server and bartender were both excellent. Couldn’t have asked for a better room. The best way to celebrate a wedding anniversary! Thank you!

Asked along the way.
What is the maximum guest capacity for a wedding?+
The Great Lawn, the largest outdoor venue on the estate, accommodates up to 400 guests and is well-suited for cocktail receptions or farewell brunches. The Chandelier Ballroom seats up to 350 for seated events and can be subdivided into four smaller spaces for more intimate programming. The Event Lawn is positioned for smaller, garden-style gatherings such as rehearsal dinners.
Are exclusive buyouts available?+
Yes. Rosewood Miramar Beach offers full estate buyouts, giving a single group exclusive use of the resort's accommodations, venues, restaurants, and facilities. This is a strong option for multi-day destination wedding weekends where privacy, cohesion, and control over the guest experience are priorities.
When is the best season to marry here?+
Montecito's climate is among the most stable in California — warm, low-humidity summers from June through September are the most popular window for outdoor ceremonies on the Great Lawn or Event Lawn. Late spring (April–May) and early fall (October) offer slightly cooler temperatures and fewer crowds while still reliably dry. The Chandelier Ballroom makes the property a viable year-round venue regardless of season.
What's the food and beverage approach?+
The culinary team builds tailored menus around fresh, organic ingredients sourced from the Central Coast, paired with curated wine selections and custom wedding cakes. The on-property Caruso's restaurant holds a Michelin One Star and Green Star designation, and its kitchen team informs the standard of execution across all event catering. FronteMare provides a second oceanfront dining concept for more casual group meals or welcome dinners.
