Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek is a 1925 Dallas landmark that has operated as a private estate, a storied hotel, and a civic institution — all without shedding the residential character that makes it unlike any conventional ballroom venue in Texas.

The Promenade and Pavilion form the core of the wedding offering: a sun-lit reception foyer that flows into a classic European-style ballroom, where high ceilings, warm stone detailing, and considered proportions give large celebrations a sense of intimacy rather than scale.

Outside, the manicured Mansion Lawn and Garden provide a formal outdoor setting framed by mature landscaping and architectural detailing that photographs with weight and precision.

Across the property, the mood is consistent — quiet, residential, unhurried — reinforced by Rosewood's signature bespoke service model, a dedicated team of on-site wedding specialists, and culinary programming that draws on cultural diversity as a creative foundation rather than a fallback.

We celebrated our wedding at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We chose Rosewood for its exceptional service quality and timeless, classic elegance—and it truly exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for an upscale venue with impeccable service for an important event, I highly recommend it. I’d like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire team, with a special thank you to Cesar, the Food & Beverage Manager, who was incredibly kind, organized, and attentive throughout the planning process. A special thank-you as well to our server, Ezequiel Raynoso, whose professionalism and warmth made the evening even more memorable. Our wedding was truly unforgettable.

07 · Questions

Asked along the way.

What is the maximum guest capacity for a wedding?+

The Promenade and Pavilion ballroom complex can accommodate weddings in the range of 150–200 guests for a seated dinner reception. Smaller ceremonies on the Mansion Lawn or in the historic interior spaces work well for 20–80 guests. The property's team will confirm exact configurations based on your specific layout and catering needs.

Are exclusive buyouts available?+

The Mansion operates as a full-service boutique hotel rather than an exclusive-hire venue, so full property buyouts are not the standard model. However, the wedding team routinely works with couples to reserve room blocks, restrict access to key spaces during the event, and create a suitably private atmosphere. Group rate packages are offered for overnight guests.

When is the best season to marry here?+

Dallas springs — March through May — offer mild temperatures, lower humidity, and typically clear skies, making them the strongest window for outdoor ceremonies on the Mansion Lawn and Garden. October and November are a close second. Summer months in Dallas are hot and humid, which can affect outdoor timings, though the air-conditioned Pavilion ballroom functions well year-round.

What's the food and beverage approach?+

Catering is handled entirely in-house by The Mansion's culinary team, whose menu philosophy is rooted in cultural diversity and seasonal sourcing. Wine service is overseen by on-property Wine Director Brian Huynh, who also leads private wine cellar tastings that can be incorporated into the wedding weekend program. The Mansion Bar offers handcrafted cocktails and a curated wine list for welcome receptions and after-parties.
