Rosewood Baha Mar in Nassau, open March–December.
Rosewood Baha Mar occupies a prime position on Nassau's Cable Beach, the most storied stretch of sand on New Providence, within the broader Baha Mar resort enclave — a campus built to a scale that feels genuinely grand without sacrificing intimacy.
The property moves between polished indoor salons and open-air terraces that face directly onto the Caribbean, so ceremonies can be staged with the water as the literal horizon.
The Grand Salon accommodates up to five hundred guests beneath high ceilings, offering the kind of flexible, column-free floor plate that large celebrations require, while the lush Rosewood Garden provides a counterpoint for smaller gatherings — shade trees, manicured lawn, and the low sound of waves carrying from the beach.
Cable Beach itself functions as a ceremony backdrop of real distinction: white sand, clear shallows, and the wide Bahamian sky that shifts from turquoise to amber at dusk.
We had a wonderful stay at Rosewood Baha Mar, and the butler team truly made the experience exceptional. They went above and beyond in every way and provided some of the best service we’ve ever had. It was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring. The food was good, the rooms were spotless, and housekeeping did an amazing job. Every staff member we encountered, from the pool and beach teams to the airport greeter, was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The heated pools were a big plus. While the beach area is smaller and can feel crowded, it’s still beautiful. Prices are very high throughout the resort (as expected in the Bahamas), though a few things didn’t feel worth the cost. particularly the poolside cabanas, which we wouldn’t recommend. The food although good was also just slightly over priced. Aside from that, our stay was fantastic, and we truly loved our time here

Asked along the way.
What is the maximum guest capacity for a wedding?+
The Grand Salon, Rosewood Baha Mar's primary indoor event space, accommodates up to 500 guests. Outdoor venues — including Cable Beach and the Rosewood Garden — can support comparable or larger group sizes depending on configuration, making the property suitable for both large celebrations and more contained gatherings of 20 to 80 guests.
Are exclusive buyouts available?+
Rosewood Baha Mar is a full-service resort within the larger Baha Mar enclave, so whole-property buyouts are not standard practice. However, individual event spaces — including the Grand Salon, garden, Cable Beach, and The Cellar at Café Boulud — can be reserved exclusively. Groups booking 20 or more rooms also unlock dedicated group perks and amenities. Speak directly with the property's wedding specialists to discuss venue exclusivity options.
When is the best season to marry here?+
The Bahamas has a subtropical climate with warm temperatures year-round. The clearest, driest conditions typically run from mid-November through April — the peak of the high season — with lower humidity and minimal rain. Summer months (June through October) fall within the Atlantic hurricane season and carry higher rainfall averages, though they often come with lower room rates. For outdoor ceremonies on Cable Beach or in the garden, the winter and early spring window is the most reliable.
What's the food and beverage approach?+
The culinary team builds wedding menus around seasonal, locally sourced Bahamian ingredients, spanning passed canapés, set lunches, and multi-course celebratory dinners. The Cellar at Café Boulud — Daniel Boulud's Nassau outpost — brings French-inflected technique to private dining and rehearsal dinners. The property also hosts a monthly Art of Wine Series pairing fine cuisine with curated wines, and that same sensibility carries into bespoke beverage programming for weddings.
