Villa Poggio di Gaville in Cavriglia, open JuneSeptember.

Villa Poggio di Gaville rises from the Tuscan hills near Cavriglia, commanding views across rolling vineyards and cypress-lined valleys in the Arno River basin.

This 16th-century estate combines stone architecture with terraced gardens that descend toward the landscape, offering ceremony spaces with sightlines across the Chianti countryside.

The property functions as both venue and hotel, accommodating guests within its restored rooms and outbuildings.

We had the absolute joy of celebrating our wedding at Villa Poggio di Gaville on April 12, 2025, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. From the start of our planning journey, Samira was an incredible support — always kind, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile to help us find suppliers and accommodate our needs. When we arrived, she welcomed us and our families with such warmth that we instantly felt at home. The villa itself is stunning, but what truly made the weekend unforgettable was the heartfelt hospitality from Samira and her father, Jamal. Jamal’s cooking was exceptional — among the best meals we had in Italy — and he thoughtfully catered to all dietary needs while making time to personally connect with our guests. We have received so many compliments about the beauty of the venue and the kindness of the hosts. Thanks to Samira and Jamal, our wedding day was magical — a memory we will cherish forever. We cannot recommend Villa Poggio di Gaville enough and are already looking forward to returning one day!
