We just stayed here for 3 nights and loved our stay. The hotel was beautiful, clean and well run. We had two rooms, both of which were well appointed and serviced daily with replenished bottled water (something a lot of hotels in Italy don't seem to do). We decided on the second night to eat in the restaurant. The food and service were great and so much so we ate again on our last night. Staff running the hotel were consistent in their friendliness and made an effort for us to feel very welcome, laughing and joking with us but also running the hotel efficiently and well The pool looked really nice but its October so we skipped that for now haha. Breakfast was good, it was buffet but with a good selection of healthy options plus some hot food too. They also offer gluten free bread for both breakfast and dinner (as well as gluten free pasta). Would definitely stay again

We spent three nights in late September at Villa Sabolini. The location is fantastic, very relaxing and quiet in the surroundings. You can also have some nice views, although at some other places in the area maybe they are more spectacular. The pool is also nice and we got to swim a bit although the whether cools at the end of September. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant, I recommend the Degustazione menu and the suggestions from Abdul, he was great in preparing the best dishes for us. Paul made also a very good effort in chosing the best wines for us.

This hotel has a particularly beautiful and peaceful location. It is situated on top of a hill with a large garden, swimming pool, sun loungers, and bar. We most appreciated the friendliness and dedication of the staff. The restaurant staff in particular are helpful with everything and the atmosphere is pleasant. What's more, the food is always delicious, so you look forward to the next meal. If I may make one suggestion: the temperature of the water in the swimming pool could be a little higher at the end of September, perhaps a solar panel could help here. There is plenty of sun here

Frequently asked questions

Can guests stay at the villa for multiple nights?
Yes. With 40+ rooms on-site, Villa Sabolini functions as a full hotel, allowing wedding parties to book multi-night packages and host welcome dinners, rehearsal events, and post-wedding brunches without off-site coordination.
What makes the vineyard ceremonies different here?
Unlike venues with vineyard views, Villa Sabolini is an operating wine estate. Ceremonies take place among active production rows, and receptions can include wine tastings of the property's own vintages—a working terroir experience rather than decorative backdrop.
What is the guest capacity range?
The venue accommodates 20–150 guests, with flexibility for intimate elopements or larger celebrations across multiple event spaces.
Is the venue suitable for non-traditional ceremonies?
Yes. The estate's mixed indoor/outdoor spaces and wine-centric culture appeal to secular, non-religious, and alternative ceremony styles. Discuss preferences directly via their website contact form.
How far is Villa Sabolini from major airports?
Florence (Peretola) is approximately 1 hour drive north. Rome Fiumicino is 2.5–3 hours south. Both are accessible via rental car or private transfer services.
