Napoleon requisitioned what is now the Michelangelo suite as his headquarters.
The signature is the Loggia: a panoramic dining terrace with the Duomo and all of Florence spread below, a view no other venue near the city can stage a dinner against.
There is an original chapel for intimate ceremonies, terraced Renaissance gardens cascading toward the city, and Belmond’s in-house banqueting office running everything.

Exclusive use caps at 100 guests. Belmond’s fact sheet lists the Davanzati Room and Roman Garden at 40 seated each (the garden reaches ~100 for cocktails with exclusive use) and the gardens at up to 100 seated. Figures predate the 2026 renovation, reconfirm with the hotel.
Does Villa San Michele require a room minimum for weddings?+
Yes, published minimums scale with the event: five rooms for up to 20 guests, ten rooms for up to 30, and twenty rooms for events up to 40 guests. Full exclusive use is quoted separately.
