The Kayon Jungle Resort rises from a lush valley in Bali's Payangan district, where towering jungle canopy frames dramatic rice terrace views and a 35-meter waterfall cascades through the property.

Perched above the Ayung River gorge, the resort offers an elevated platform for ceremonies and celebrations surrounded by primary forest and native vegetation.

Stone pavilions and open-air spaces integrate directly into the landscape, creating a raw, immersive jungle setting without walls or barriers between venue and wilderness.

We celebrated our anniversary here in this romantic Kayon Jungle Resort. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort is secluded and very private. We wake up to panasonic views of the mountains, jungle and singing birds. The resort is beautifully built and decorated with Balinese furnishings and designed with every detail in mind. The very caring and attentive staff made our experience here unforgettable. They go out of their way to make our stay memorable. We enjoyed many meals at the resort restaurant. The food is freshly prepared onsite and is absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this romantic resort to couples seeking romance and exceptional 5 star hospitality.

07 · Questions

Asked along the way.

What is the terrain like for guests with mobility limitations?+

The resort spans multiple elevation levels connected by stone steps and pathways. While some ceremonies can be held on flatter pavilions, guests should expect natural, uneven terrain typical of jungle settings. Contact the venue directly about accessibility accommodations.

Are outside vendors allowed?+

The resort works with preferred catering and decoration partners. Inquire directly about policies regarding external florists, photographers, and event planners during initial consultation.

What is included in wedding packages?+

Standard packages typically include venue rental, basic setup, and access to pavilions and grounds. Catering, accommodation, and additional services are quoted separately based on guest count and specific requirements.

Is the waterfall usable for ceremonies or photos?+

Yes—the 35-meter waterfall and natural pools are frequently incorporated into ceremonies and photo sessions. Water levels vary seasonally, so timing impacts availability and aesthetics.

How far is this from Ubud and Denpasar?+

The resort is approximately 25 kilometers from Ubud (45-60 minutes by car) and 55 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport (90 minutes with traffic).
