We spent 3 nights at the Kayon Valley Resort and had such a wonderful time. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, very comfortable. What made the stay truly special was the staff. Every single person we met was incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely caring. It’s honestly hard to mention everyone by name because they were all so lovely. Their hospitality made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Tama, who kindly shared great tips and information about Ubud and the surrounding areas. That was very helpful and much appreciated.

After weeks of research, my husband and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon. The reviews gave us a glimpse of what to expect, but none of them truly captured the experience. The Kayon is a blend of breathtaking scenery, serenity, warm energy, and genuinely attentive staff. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with a refreshing drink and a thoughtful overview of the amenities—shuttles to Ubud Center and their sister property, Kayon Jungle; daily walks; yoga classes; guided tours; nightly performances; an incredible breakfast; and so much more. When we reached our room, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated bed and a small honeymoon cake. The room itself was perfect for two, with a spacious bathroom and a bathtub overlooking our private infinity pool, also decorated for the occasion. The outdoor area became our favorite place to unwind, nap, or simply take in the view. Although our room was located at the bottom of a small hill, we could request a golf cart at any time to take us anywhere on the property. We enjoyed breakfast, poolside lunches, dinners, spa treatments, and a hotel-organized tour—each experience felt unique and memorable. The property is stunning, but what truly elevates this hotel is its people. The staff made us feel welcomed, celebrated, and cared for during every moment of our stay. Beautiful country, beautiful people, unforgettable memories. If you’re searching for the perfect place, look no further—this is it.

Worst holiday experience ever. Definitely not 5 star. Started off being told couldn’t check in until 4pm when the website says 2pm. Decided to have lunch and the meal was inedible. No hot water in room. Tried restaurant again that night and the 2 items I ordered were not available. Gave up. Ordered breakfast in the room. Breakfast never showed up. Next day caught the hotel shuttle into UBUD. Waited for an hour for the shuttle on the way home and it didn’t show up. Apparently no one wanted to go into ubud from the hotel so they decided to. Angel that shuttle. Was told it was my fault as I didn’t book it. The staff rudely insisted I was wrong. It was on a schedule so why do I need to book? Am I meant to be psychic and k what no one was on the outbound shuttle? I wanted to check out early but they would not refund the unused nights. Has breakfast the next day and wrong dish was delivered. When the actual dish came it was stone cld not cooked? Supposedly 5 star…..more like 2 or 3 at best. AVOID!!
