We had a magical stay for my birthday. The staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were excellent, so comfortable, and the food was superb. There is a good choice of activities at the hotel, it was built as a hunting lodge. The weather didn't put us off walking up to the view point. However, our last day was in sunshine and we could see the full grandeur of this magnificent area. We'll definitely be back.

Our quiet winter visit at this hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were carefully set with all the 5 star amenities including a welcome gift. The service always had a personal touch and by the end of our stay we got to know many members of staff. The sitting areas offer a log fire place, giving warmth and creating a cosy atmosphere. The whiskey bar was impressive and a shout-out to Duncan at the bar who very attentively and meticulously created drinks based on our preferred flavour profiles alone. I have to wonder if this still holds during summer when they are really busy. However, based on our visit, it is an exceptional 5 star hotel in the Highlands. I have reviewed their fine dining restaurant separately which was also very good. There are a few points they could perfect but nothing worth noting here. With all that, please expect a high end price for the rooms and the food. However, I'm pleased that such a place exists and thrives in a remote location offering the best of hospitality. As a cosy luxury retreat, to get away from a busy city life and go for remote walks with views of the lochs, this hotel ticks all the boxes. I strongly recommend a visit and hope to return myself.

We had an amazing time at The Torridon. Location was superb for walks and views. Hotel staff all really friendly, activities well organised and the fine dining restaurant was fabulous. Service at all times was exceptional but also relaxed, which we really enjoyed. Hotel transfer to / from Inverness was seamless with a very friendly driver
