"A place where royalty meets tranquility — and where you'll wish you'd booked more nights." An absolutely unforgettable stay. The Lake House has become one of the biggest highlights of our entire Ireland trip. We were welcomed by Claire and owner Mr. Niall Hubbard, who was warm, generous with local tips, and made us feel truly at home. Niall means Champion — and he is exactly that. Our lake view room was breathtaking, with gorgeous views of the on-site castle and lake. Asiya was wonderful at both dinner and breakfast — and breakfast here is something else entirely. Royalty-level. Michelle gave us a lovely checkout, and we were thrilled to see Mr. Hubbard once more on our way out. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary in Ireland. Thank you so much for making it so special for us. There is so much to see and do in this lovely area that we must come back. We will definitely stay at The Lake Hotel again— for longer next time. We had an amazing time at the Lake Hotel. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. They were all so good with our little toddler, he had a great time. The food was amazing. I am gluten free and there were loads of choices. They told me most dishes could be made Gluten Free. I had a crumble for desert in the bar and it was amazing. Our room was a deluxe Lakeview room on the 2nd floor. It was perfect and very comfortable with amazing views. We had dinner in the dining room and it didn’t disappoint, jampacked with taste and we were stuffed afterwards. During the meal a herd of deer walked right up onto the lawn outside the dining room windows it was spectacular. We will definitely be recommending it to all our friends and family, and we will be returning again soon.

Had such a great experience, the hotel was very clean and staff were super friendly and accommodating. They upgraded me to a lake side view free of charge (I would definitely ask this when you're checking in as the view is wonderful. The restaurant was closed as I arrived on the Monday, however a colleague said the food in the hotel is amazing. The breakfast buffet is also fantastic, having a very big range of options, with the staff preparing whatever you would like also. A great option to stay if you're thinking of visiting Killarney!!!
