We chose Muckross Park Hotel & Spa to celebrate a very special anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. The spa experience was out of this world. The design is absolutely beautiful — elegant, tranquil, and thoughtfully laid out to create a completely relaxing atmosphere. The room was very comfortable, warm and peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. The location is unbeatable — directly across from the breathtaking Muckross Abbey and the spectacular Killarney National Park, offering stunning scenery right on your doorstep. I could go on and on but this was one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had, and we are already planning our return. A true five-star experience in every way.

Really enjoyable stay. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom and great high ceilings. Breakfast very good with attentive service and a wide range of fresh to cook items to supplement the continental buffet. TV could do with an upgrade in the room, looked small on the wall & would be great to have a smart TV with casting options. Spa was clean and the booking system keeps the numbers to an intimate level. Stayed the next night at The Europe but felt our stay at Muckross was much better value for money,

Lovely food, drink and location with several great dining options. I think that this hotel is a very solid 4 star hotel but is lacking the extra little touches of acknowledgement for a five star. Examples: There was a miscommunication from a receptionist telling us one of the restaurants was closed that evening however when heading to the more casual restaurant we saw it open, the rooms are luxurious and the bed is comfortable but some of the soft furnishings could do with a refresh. I also think that a knock from housekeeping before 9.30am is not ideal when you’re on a break. Really big shout out to Goretti who was a brilliant and friendly wait staff member. She always made sure my group were looked after.
