The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — full of character, elegance, and that perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax. What truly makes Cahernane special, though, is the staff. Every single team member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and their warm hospitality really elevates the whole experience. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm, cosy, and luxurious without ever feeling formal or stuffy. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet drink, relaxing in your room, or simply taking in the surroundings, everything feels effortless and special. It’s rare to find somewhere that delivers consistently, but Cahernane has absolutely done that for us. Our second stay was just as fantastic as our first, and we’re already looking forward to returning again. A truly exceptional place to stay. Highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back already!

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for a winter break in the first week of January 2026. The hotel was amazing and a step back in time, with big open fires in the reception, drawing room and the piano rooms. my first impression was it was very cosy and homely, with extremely friendly staff, from the moment we arrived to the time we left the staff were very attentive, the dining room food was top class and very tasty. And there was a big choice for breakfast which was also fantastic, I highly recommend you trying the homemade scones. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again.

One of the best stays I've been too! The hotel is gorgeous. The grounds are superb. Food was great as well! It is also a short drive to many amazing hiking and scenic driving spots. If we are ever in the area, WE WILL be staying here again.
