We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, which was slightly away from the main touristy area and therefore quieter and more relaxed, exactly what we wanted. Uber was readily available and reasonably priced, so getting to and from the main attractions was straightforward and never felt inconvenient. The staff were a real highlight. Sophie on Reception was welcoming and helpful, and in the restaurant Shah, Seema and Bia stood out for being very pleasant, attentive, and happy to cater to our specific requirements. The daily happy hour from 17:30 to 19:00 was an excellent touch: when you buy a drink, a selection of small bites is provided, which made for a very enjoyable early evening wind down. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and overall we felt relaxed and at ease during our stay. However, there were a couple of issues that took away from an otherwise great experience. The shower was temperamental: on some days the water was nicely hot, while on others it was only lukewarm, and when we raised this with reception the only response was to check whether we had the knobs turned the right way, which was not particularly helpful. In addition, our bedsheets were not changed after three days and we had to ask for this to be done. Overall, this is a comfortable hotel with excellent staff and a quieter location that works well if you are happy to use Uber, but there is room for improvement in maintenance and housekeeping consistency.
