Makrinitsa village in Βόλος 370 11, open JuneSeptember.

Built in 1923 as a traditional stone mansion, this hotel in Makrinitsa village was painstakingly restored to preserve its original architectural character while adding modern hospitality amenities.

The property retains period details including hand-carved wooden elements and whitewashed facades typical of Pelion region construction.

Located on the road to Kourourava at 370 meters elevation, it offers authentic Greek mountain village atmosphere with contemporary comfort.

We stayed here for one night while visiting Makrinitsa. Voula was extremely hospitable and went out of her way to make our stay very pleasant. The hotel is located just a little bit away from the main square, but you can easily walk there in ~5 minutes by taking some of the paths through the town. The hotel has a parking lot right out front, so you don't have to carry your bags on the paths. There is also an elevator in the hotel, which is handy if you have a decent amount of luggage. We would definitely stay here again!
