Archontika Karamarlis Boutique Hotel in Makrinitsa 370 11, open JuneSeptember.

Guests arrive at this restored mansion in the Pelion hillside village of Makrinitsa, where stone architecture and mountain views set the tone for celebrations.

The boutique hotel welcomes small to mid-sized weddings with the intimacy of a private home—staff greet arrivals personally, rooms overlook terraced gardens, and ceremonies can unfold on the property's outdoor spaces with natural backdrops of olive groves and distant sea views.

Guests experience genuine Pelion hospitality rather than resort formality, with on-site accommodation allowing multi-day festivities.

Loved it. Great room with a nice rustic ambience and a spectacular view of the peninsula from the hilltop hotel. The complimentary Greek breakfast was delicious. The staff who received us did not speak good English but she made all the effort to make our stay a comfy one. It was so sweet of her using actions to explain us the local attractions. The owner lady was also very friendly and gave us some helpful suggestions for the rest of our Greek trip. However, the parking space was limited and expect hairpin roads to get there.
