When we enter the building we felt we were in a place we loved to be. It was made in Venetian period in Crete with character that tells an ongoing story from five centuries ago. It is in the Venetian Neighborhood. It was converted to a library in 1928 by Antonio Malmo . After all the alterations in its interior and usage, it has been renovated in a way that integrates and highlights its unique identity in the greater area. Both the surrounding area and the building are a direct result of a multicultural blend, combining aspects of the Greek, Italian and Turkish culture. The rooms, decoration, breakfast was superb. The staff were extremely friendly.
