Castello di Cafaggio offers a working wine estate with on-site accommodations, meaning your guests can stay where they celebrate—a significant logistical advantage for destination weddings.

This 14th-century castle in Tuscany's Chianti region provides both ceremony and reception spaces across 100+ hectares of vineyards.

The hotel structure allows couples to manage guest logistics efficiently while maintaining the grandeur of a historic Italian venue.

Grazie mille!!! This was a truly wonderful place to stay, as we essentially got to feel like Tuscan nobles of old, staying in a house whose roots run back to the early 1000s CE, including close associates of Cosimo and Lorenzo di Medici (via their ties to the Benci family, themselves friends of Leonardo Da Vinci), and which has been lovingly maintained for centuries. Now, you can feel special with vistas of sunrise and sunset over Chianti and Impruneta respectively, a short drive from Florence, Siena, and the smaller Tuscan wine towns like Greve and San Gimignano, OR you can stay in luxury and enjoy the walks in the woods, a dip in the pool, or even just the wonderful room. For me, a birdwatcher, it was perfect with nesting Kestrels, a pair of Little Owls, and a wide range of songbirds typically uncommon in more urban parts of Tuscany. And to top it off, this was the perfect location to "pop the question" after travelling Italy. It felt right asking almost immediately, because of the sheer romance of Castello di Caffagio! 10/10, will absolutely be coming back and for longer ASAP!
