Castel di Coino was a wonderful experience! The property is beautiful and going inside the castle was incredible. Tommaso, a member of the family that goes back for many generations led the way. He taught us so much about the history of the home. Great stories! He took us on a tour of the cellars and then we went on a truffle hunt with Leonardo. Leonardo and Ahi, his dog, led us through the majestic woods and Ahi led us to the truffles. After the hunt we had a magical dinner with wine and dishes that included our truffles. I bought some wonderful Prosecco, wine, and olive oil to bring home to the states. They even shipped it for me. Please go and visit Castel Di Coiano. Tomasso and Lorenzo made us feel like family.
