Absolutely amazing food – probably the best we’ve ever had at an all-inclusive stay. We also loved the private pool, which made the whole experience even more special and relaxing. A truly memorable stay.

The best holiday we have ever been on! We had the most amazing time at Bitzaro Grande hotel for 11 nights Aug - Sep 2025. We had our own private whirlpool room (the room is huge) and enjoyed every second of our stay. It was our wedding holiday and the staff made such a fuss of us and couldn’t do enough for us, even called us on the wedding morning to wish us luck and see if we needed anything for our guests. We booked through Tui and we came back to our room with a bottle of wine and a card. Reception staff, our maid, catering staff were all always so friendly and kind. The hotel is stunning, the pool is amazing and if you can afford it I’d definitely recommend getting your own private pool! Our little girl absolutely loved it. Food was great. We would eat at least 1 meal a day here and we ate once in the il giardino restaurant which was very nice. It’s probably the best all inclusive holiday food we have had Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and recommend this hotel to everyone

We had a relaxing stay here overall, but a few things stopped it from being great. The location is really convenient – only about a 10–15 minute taxi from the airport (around €10–€15) and just a short walk to the Kalamaki strip, which has plenty of restaurants, bars and shops without being too lively. It’s also about 10 minutes to Kalamaki Turtle Beach – not the prettiest, but still nice enough – and about an hour’s walk to the main Zante strip if you want more nightlife. The hotel itself has a chilled atmosphere, no kids around so it’s nice and quiet. Most guests were English or Dutch, mainly an older crowd. Evening entertainment was just live music, which was pleasant but limited. It is right under the flight path so the planes can be loud, but we were told this before booking so it wasn’t an issue once we knew to expect it. Our room was modern, spacious, and cleaned well every day. A big frustration was the lack of an iron and ironing board in the room – you have to go down and borrow one from reception and then they would be chasing up to return it right after, which got a bit annoying and I wouldn’t expect for a 4 star hotel. We asked for a duvet instead of a sheet as it was colder at the time but the best we got was a thick woven blanket which was a bit mediocre. The staff were friendly throughout our stay. John on reception was great – helpful and welcoming. The cleaners were also brilliant. Food and drink were the biggest letdown. The buffet quality and variety wasn’t great, and some nights we struggled to find something we actually wanted. The freshly made dishes at the buffet also ran out quite early. The beer and wine were decent, but the spirits and soft drinks were off-brand and didn’t taste good at all. No prosecco included either (only available to buy at €40 a bottle), and the coffee from the machines was very watery. The pool snack bar food wasn’t great either – mostly heavy, greasy meals of low quality, would have been nice to have some lighter options. We also had a hire car from Eurohire just outside the hotel which was super convenient – they dropped it off and picked it up right from the car park. Only other downside was the wasps – they were relentless around the sunbeds during the day (obviously not the hotel’s fault, but worth noting). Overall, a friendly and peaceful hotel in a good location, ideal if you want a quiet, relaxed break. Just be aware that the food and drinks are average at best, and it’s right under the flight path.
