Vocabolo Moscatelli Boutique Hotel & Restaurant in Umbertide, open June–November.
Vocabolo Moscatelli is a restored 18th-century rural property in Umbria that operates as a boutique hotel and restaurant.
The stone estate, carefully rehabilitated to preserve its agricultural heritage, sits on working land outside Umbertide and accommodates intimate weddings of up to 50 guests across its on-site chapel, restaurant spaces, and 12 guest rooms.
The venue's internal catering and three-night minimum create a self-contained celebration model where guests stay, dine, and marry within the same restored grounds.
Vocabolo Moscatelli is in a league of its own. We have been to many wonderful hotels in the world, but this place is special. It’s the kind of place you enter and you feel at ease. Every piece of interior is designed to perfection, but not just to look beautiful, also to make you feel most comfortable. The food is delicious and at the highest standard. They have an incredible concept of “all day breakfast”, yes breakfast all day long whenever you want! This takes so much of the pressure off, you start really relaxing and living into the day, having long breakfasts with everything your heart desires. The place itself, the buildings and surroundings are beautiful. But above all it’s the people, the service which frankly was on a level we had never seen before. Every wish was catered for, even anticipated. It was next level. This is the kind of place we will come back to again and again. Hope you get to enjoy it as well!
