My stay at the Turim Boulevard Hotel was a mixed experience. The location is absolutely 5-star, but the service execution and room maintenance issues unfortunately bring the overall rating down to average. The hotel is perfectly situated right by the metro station, the neighborhood is very safe, and there are countless cafes and dining options nearby. This location made commuting and exploring Lisbon incredibly easy and convenient. However, the operational side of the hotel was disappointing. While the room was clean and quiet, several items were broken upon arrival, including the telephone, coffee machine, and a leaking bidet. Although they were fixed, it took a full day. The most frustrating element was the service. The staff was polite, but follow-up was non-existent. They failed to contact me when the room was ready for check-in as requested, and simple requests for items like water or cutlery required me to call two or even three times before they were delivered. The hotel has a great foundation with its location and clean rooms, but the management must seriously address the inconsistent and unreliable service execution for basic guest requests.
