The 16th-century Tithe Barn is the ceremony and dining room, stone walls and open roof timbers, with the Ox Barn restaurant for the long table and the Baa Bar, built into the old lambing sheds, for the part of the night nobody remembers.
The Meadow Spa and the walled gardens fill the day between.

Beautiful hotel - I had a 90-minute Thyme Body Massage which was fabulous. The staff were attentive and so helpful - the person who walked us across from the Reception to the Spa - and the spa staff.

Yes. A wedding at Thyme takes the whole estate, its bedrooms, restaurant and grounds, which is why the guest list and the bed count end up roughly matched. Enquiries go through the events team rather than a public tariff.
Where is the ceremony held?+
The Tithe Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies, and couples who want a church service use the village church a short walk from the estate. Both sit inside the same few hundred metres, so nobody is moved by coach.
How many people can sleep on site?+
About 62, across 31 bedrooms spread through the estate’s cottages and houses. Extra guests stay in Lechlade, Burford or Cirencester, all within twenty to thirty minutes by car.
What is the nearest airport?+
Bristol is closest at roughly an hour by car, but most guests travelling from abroad come through London Heathrow, which is about an hour and a half away on the M4 and A417.
