Estelle Manor in Eynsham Park, open May – August.
Estelle Manor opened in 2023 in Eynsham Hall, a Grade II listed Jacobean-revival pile rebuilt by Ernest George at the turn of the last century, and it is now the most talked-about country address within ninety minutes of London.
There are 108 bedrooms, four restaurants, 85 acres of gardens inside a 3,000-acre estate, and Eynsham Baths, a 3,000 square metre Roman-inspired spa that is the reason half the guest list will arrive early.
Weddings use the Orangery, the Library, the Glass House, the Chestnuts and Fallow House, the events building added since opening, and the estate is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 200 guests.
It took the Eve Jobs and Harry Charles reception, with the ceremony held at the church on the neighbouring Great Tew estate, which is a fair picture of how a full-estate buyout here runs.

Asked along the way.
How many guests can Estelle Manor hold?+
The estate is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 200. Individual rooms are smaller: the Chestnuts and the Glass House take about 60 each, the Orangery 40, and the Library and the Fawn 30, so a 200-guest wedding uses several spaces or a structure in the grounds.
Can anyone book a wedding at Estelle Manor?+
Estelle Manor is a private members’ club as well as a hotel, and it takes wedding enquiries case by case rather than from a public diary. Expect an exclusive-hire conversation rather than a package, and allow time for it.
Where do guests stay?+
On site. There are 108 bedrooms across the main hall and the estate buildings, which is enough to keep a 200-guest wedding in one place for a full weekend, unusual for a house this close to London.
What is there to do between the events?+
Eynsham Baths, the 3,000 square metre spa, is the anchor, with four restaurants, a gym, class studios and padel courts, plus 85 acres of gardens and parkland to walk off the wedding breakfast.
What does it cost?+
Nothing is published. Press reporting on the Jobs and Charles wedding put the whole multi-day celebration in the millions, which is not a useful benchmark; our figures below are estimates for a normal exclusive hire at this tier.
How far is it from London and Heathrow?+
About 70 miles from central London and roughly an hour and fifteen minutes from Heathrow by car. Hanborough station is ten minutes away, with trains to London Paddington in about eighty minutes.
