The hotel's position on the peninsula creates an elevated vantage point, where floor-to-ceiling windows flood event spaces with natural light and unobstructed sightlines to the harbour.

We had the most incredible experience here at The Darling and cannot recommend it highly enough. We had booked a room to stay in as we were eloping in Sydney, however our check in time wasn’t until 3pm and we needed somewhere to change before the ceremony. While we were grabbing our clothes from the luggage cart to quickly change in the pool change rooms, a wonderful lady working in the valet section noticed what was happening and immediately dropped everything she was doing to help us. She went out of her way to contact reception and, completely unexpectedly, arranged a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite - an absolutely huge and incredibly generous upgrade that meant the world to us on such a special day. The team then took back all our bags and clothes straight off our hands and delivered everything directly to the room so we could get ready in time for our ceremony. The level of care, efficiency, and genuine kindness shown was exceptional. A special mention to Francisca, who assisted us and was so warm, accomodating and lovely throughout, nothing was too much trouble. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and truly made us feel celebrated. Thank you to The Darling team for turning what could have been a stressful moment into one we’ll remember forever. If you’re staying for a special occasion, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend!
