Originally constructed as a Victorian pub and lodging house, the building underwent extensive restoration to preserve its period architecture while introducing contemporary hospitality standards.
Today it operates as a boutique hotel venue, merging its storied past with modern event capabilities for intimate celebrations.
There's only 14 rooms in this boutique hotel which is intentionally focussed on guest comfort and experience. My partner and I stayed for one night. The hotel and hospitality was lovely and staff attentive to our needs. It is well located, has lovely styling, comfortable, clean and had everything we wanted. Although only a few floors, there's a lift that helped us get to the various floors of the hotel, much appreciated since I was on crutches. We enjoyed our free drink voucher, drinks and people watching at the downstairs bar. We would return 😊
