We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of October. You can definitely feel the lack of staff — if you want something from the bar, you have to call the waiter from the restaurant. There were only two guys working, doing everything. The heater in the room didn’t work, and the temperature stayed around 20°C. We asked for a portable heater to warm up the room, which they kindly provided. Still, when paying for a stay, I expect to be able to set the room temperature myself, not be limited to 20°C while it’s 12°C outside. Breakfast was quite basic — just eggs and sausages. If you like pastries, there are plenty, but not much for those who don’t eat sweets. It would be nice to have a bit more variety. On the bright side, the location is beautiful, there’s parking available, and the staff did their best to help us. However, the room only had two paper cups and no coffee machine or kettle — a small detail that makes a big difference. Overall, it’s a nice place with potential, but comfort and service could be improved.

My husband and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are grand and the staff were outstanding. One night we dined in the on-site restaurant and I forgot to take my leftovers with me. The staff put them in the refrigerator and called my room to let me know they saved them for me. I highly, highly recommend.

Had really high expectations from the property for the price we paid and from the experiences we had at other places throughout Italy. But to our disappointment the rooms were anything but nice, they were acutely ventilated and dimly lit (even during daylight) , no window, just a little glass on the ceiling for the natural light. The rooms were located on somewhat upper floor accessible only by stairs which were short (around 10) but very steep. No bell boy or anyone to show you to your room. No smile on meeting the staff at the reception, we were there on new years and the new year gala/ dinner price was almost equal to what we paid for the room.
