Relais Le Macine Di Stigliano stands apart as a working mill property transformed into a luxury hotel, offering guests an authentic Tuscan experience rooted in 16th-century architecture rather than a typical purpose-built venue.

The estate preserves its industrial heritage while delivering contemporary hospitality across 7 hectares of vineyard and olive groves in the Val d'Orcia.

Couples gain exclusive access to the grounds, private chapels, and on-site accommodations that eliminate logistics and extend celebrations across multiple days.

We spent six nights at Relais Le Macine and were absolutely delighted with this boutique hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and given plenty of helpful information about the area. The hotel is beautifully located, away from the hustle and bustle — perfect for us, as we wanted to explore Tuscany by car. Our room was bright and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a well-equipped bathroom featuring quality toiletries, and two wardrobes for our clothes. We also appreciated the lovely gesture of a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. The service was always exceptionally friendly and attentive. The entire team went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Both the room and the property were spotlessly clean. The pool area is small but charming — in October the water was already a bit too cold for swimming, but it’s a lovely spot to relax. Breakfast was beautifully presented, varied, and delicious — and the cappuccino was excellent. We also dined twice at the hotel’s restaurant and were very impressed by the quality of the food on both occasions. Overall, we loved Relais Le Macine for its style, peaceful setting, and touch of luxury. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for relaxation, nature, and a refined atmosphere. Just keep in mind that a car is essential.
