Located on Rua Duque de Palmela in the prestigious Marquês de Pombal district, PortoBay Marquês offers sophisticated event spaces within a building steeped in Lisbon's aristocratic heritage.
The venue seamlessly maintains its original grandeur while providing modern hospitality infrastructure for weddings of 20 to 150 guests.
The Hotel is in situated I a very quiet street, despite being in very central location. Very close to the metro station (Marques), park Edward VII and Avenida da Liberdade. The hotel was quiet, clean and staff very friendly. Got a room upgrade and despite the extra space given both in the room and bathroom, decoration feels dated and theirs is absolutely no view from the window apart from the offices in the building opposite. Two individual beds were given when the request was for one double bed. Breakfast was simple but good, GF bread available on request. Restaurant decent but service could be improved. Very small gym on top floor with sauna and shower all in the same area doesn’t give a lot of privacy or space if you’re using facilities. Top floor bar is self service. Overall is comfortable and good value for money however prefer other 4 star hotels of the group.
