Positioned on Rosa Araújo street since its original construction in the 1880s, the property has been meticulously revitalized to showcase ornate ceilings, marble accents, and intimate event spaces.
We stayed at PortoBay Liberdade for my birthday and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm professionalism and genuine care from the team, (especially Philippa and Sophia!) made my birthday feel special, they really went the extra mile. They made you feel exactly how a guest should feel: welcomed, looked after and cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful and in such a great location. Everything felt easy, walking to shops, restaurants and sightseeing spots was no problem at all. Inside, the hotel feels elegant but relaxed, with lots of thoughtful touches that make it feel comfortable but elevated. The facilities are gorgeous (spa, pool) and well maintained, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Lisbon. Our room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable, and everything just worked seamlessly. This is definitely one of the good ones. Amazing staff, lovely atmosphere and great facilities. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed. We’d absolutely return
