One&OnlyMandarina
Mandarina opened in 2020 on 88 acres of jungle and headland an hour north of Puerto Vallarta, and it is the most dramatic of the Pacific-coast resorts: 105 free-standing villas, half of them treehouses on stilts among the higuera trees, half clifftop villas above the ocean, all with plunge pools.
One&Only Mandarina is a resort destination wedding venue in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, hosting 20 to 180 guests in the $$$$ price range, reached from Puerto Vallarta International (PVR), 60 to 75 minutes by car. Best months: March, April, May, December.

The wedding spaces split the same way.
The Jetty and the Jetty Beach Club sit on the sand, with the beach club pool terrace taking about 70 and the dining area about 50, so a beach wedding here is intimate by design.
Salón Papelillo, the indoor ballroom, holds 120 seated or 180 standing with an adjacent courtyard and terrace, which is where a larger reception ends up.

Asked along the way.
How many guests can One&Only Mandarina hold?+
Salón Papelillo is the largest room at 120 seated for a banquet or 180 standing for cocktails, with an adjacent courtyard and terrace. The Jetty Beach Club spaces are smaller, around 50 to 70. Aisle records the bookable range as 20 to 180.
Where does the ceremony happen?+
Most couples marry on the sand at the Jetty or on one of the headland clearings above it, and move to Salón Papelillo or the beach club for dinner. The resort also stages ceremonies at Alma and Carao, the elevated spaces among the trees, for smaller groups.
How do guests move around the property?+
By buggy, driven by resort staff, on steep roads through the jungle. It is part of the experience and it is slow: allow ten to fifteen minutes for any group movement, and more if the party is large or the ground is wet.
How far is it from Puerto Vallarta airport?+
About 30 to 35 miles north of Puerto Vallarta International (PVR) on Highway 200, which is an hour to an hour and a quarter depending on traffic through Bucerías and Sayulita. The resort arranges transfers and the road in from the highway adds several minutes.
Can guests swim at the beach?+
This is the open Pacific rather than a sheltered bay, so the surf is bigger than at Punta Mita and swimming depends on the day. Every villa has a plunge pool and the resort has its own pools, which is where most guests actually swim.
