We switched to Locanda Leonildo dal Buongustaio after a very unpleasant experience at another “locanda” in Cagliari. Silvia & Leo turned our vacation around and restored our peace and enjoyment of this beautiful city. The accommodations were superb and a much elevated experience compared to the other “locanda.” If you are looking for a modern and comfortable and complete place to stay, look no further. The accommodations, food, service, warm welcome and experience were excellent and beyond our expectations. We enjoyed some of the most resplendent and unique culinary foods ever. The wine selection was impressive (and delicious and Silvia and Leo selected the best pairings for our meals). Let’s talk desserts. With each bite, you can taste the years of experience and incredible talent that goes into these sweet treats. They are pastry perfection. We owe Silvia our most heartfelt gratitude for turning our Cagliari experience around. What started off as a horrible, unpleasant and uncomfortable stay at another “locanda,” without needing to explain, Silvia made us feel welcomed, safe, happy, and peaceful. We literally do not have one negative thing to say about our time and meals at Locanda Leonildo dal Buongustaio. We highly recommend both the restaurant and accommodations without hesitation and with absolute confidence. We will be definitely returning and will choose no other place when in Cagliari.
