What a beautiful day aboard. The six of us decided to pay the extra for the VIP area, which supplied lounging seats, excellent shade and a far less crowded feel, although the boat wasn’t full on the day we went. The snack food served a purpose, with the pizza being the best choice. The additional €10 to be taken by rib to a small shallow bay was well worth it. The water colours and cleanliness were beautiful. However if you have mobility issues this may not be the trip for you, as the steps to get to the top deck are extremely steep. Getting back on the boat after a swim was also very challenging and really needs steps which are lower in the water. Most, if not all, struggled to get back on board. The same has to be said for the rib. There were currents running which made getting on to the folding steps very tricky. Additional steps would help. Having said this, the day was excellent with first class service from the staff. The topping up of your water bottles is an excellent €5 to spend as the heat requires you to drink a lot.
