There is a pool on the property, and the setting is coastal with a relaxed, modern feel by our estimate.
The nearest airport is Nice (NCE), roughly an hour away by road as we estimate it.
We stayed for a total of nine days in a studio apartment. Two adults and one child. It had a kitchenette, our stay did not include any meals. We had a breakfast on the first morning and had a lunch on one day. General: Most of the staff are very nice and friendly. They offer many services, like kid's club, evening entertainment, tennis, etc. There's free parking right across the street. The resort is located very far away from the city center and the beach. If you do not have a car and do not have the meals included, you will have issues getting to and from restaurants for meals. They offer a shuttle service to their partner beaches, but the operating hours are only from 9.30 till 18, and with a long break between 12 and 3pm. They also only offer two stops and both of them are really far away from their partner beaches, so you will have to haul your stuff for quite a long walk in the heat and sun. It would be better if they made the stops right next to the boulevard. Every evening they offer a different kind of entertainment. Unfortunatel, it's 100% targeted to Italians. The studio apartment: The room was clean, but it was small and quite outdated. There is almost no space that's not taken up by furniture. The bathroom is very tiny, my husband kept almost falling over the bidet. The shower stall is the smallest we have ever seen, we kept hitting the walls or the door with emour elbows or other body parts while taking a shower. The balcony was in comparison huge. They could have made that smaller in favor of a bigger room. The kitchenette is small, but well equipped. The air conditioning worked very well, however, the temperature and indication lights on it, are so incredulous bright, that we had to tape them over with some paper, to be able to sleep at night. There's basically no sound isolation, we could hear everything the neighbors did in their bathroom. Beneath the doors there's a tiny gap, so you can hear everyone in the loud and noisy hallways, also the hallway lights come through (they could place a threshold there). The pool: You get assigned two beds and an umbrella for your whole stay. If you do not like the location, you can check with the life guard in the morning to see if you can switch. This means that there are no annoying people reserving beds in the morning with their towels and not using them. Another great rule, if you do not claim your beds by noon, they become available for the rest of that day for other people to use. The pools are of varying depths and there's also an indoor pool, great if you want to avoid the sun for a bit. However, there's a serious issue with the pool water. It stains everything yellow, many guests noted the same problem. Also the tiles around the pool are stained yellow, even the foam and bubbles in the jacuzzi were yellow! The food: We only had breakfast on the first morning. Costs were very high, 46 euros for 2 adults and 1 child. This was absolutely NOT worth the money. The food on offer was not a great quality, also quite sparse for a hotel buffet. Several of the coffee machines were not working properly. We also had lunch one time at the poolbar. Really not worth the money and the quality, again, was quite disappointing. This scared us off to try dinner at their rooftop restaurant, since the prices were quite high and there are very good restaurants in Loano and the surrounding villages. For the kids: As mentioned before, this is a great resort for the kids. They offer so much entertainment for the kids, both during the day and in the evening. The pool is also great for the kids. The playground is quite outdated. In the central square there's pingpong table and several foosball tables. It's very safe.
