What a beautiful stay—easily our best accommodation in Japan so far! It offered a wonderful traditional ryokan experience with exceptional hospitality. The staff consistently went above and beyond, even drying our bags and shoes after a rainy day. Our room was thoughtfully stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—we slept like babies. Don’t miss the breakfast: a delicious home-cooked traditional meal that we thoroughly enjoyed. The location was another highlight, right in the heart of Gion’s charming streets, yet tucked away from the tourist crowds. Many of Kyoto’s major attractions were within easy walking distance. Highly recommended!
