We stayed at the Lequ Okinawa Chatan Spa & Resort from April 8–10, 2026, and out of the 7 hotels we visited during our 3-week trip across Japan and Korea, this was the best one. The hotel offers a large multi-level parking garage complimentary with the stay, which was very convenient. It’s located in American Village, so there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and nightlife within walking distance. The amenities really stood out, especially the onsen, which was modern, clean, and spacious. The outdoor pool area was great as well, featuring a small heated pool, and there is also an outdoor foot bath located at the entrance of the hotel just outside the lobby, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options and was consistently good. The only downside was that we stayed in the annex building, which required walking to the main building to access the amenities. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
