We stayed at Borgo di Cortefreda for 4 nights, our room was a “Sweet Suite” this is the hotel description. The room was massive, beautifully appointed, good bed, whirlpool bath, there was an additional room with multiple function shower/steam room and Massage beds which lead onto a spacious terrace, it’s a unique room. The food was excellent, service was good, staff worked very hard looking after 3 dining locations. The grounds were large and beautifully maintained, the pool area is exceptional with wonderful views over the countryside. Pool bar is well worth a visit, good choice of food and drinks. The only addition we would suggest is a night bar, after you have eaten, it would be nice to sit in the area around the reception and have a drink or coffee, without trying to find the restaurant staff, who have enough on their plate, no pun intended. We loved this hotel!
