Very nice hotel with a small reception. During the winter months there are Christmas markets right across the street. The fitness room is very small with free water. Breakfast is adequate. The room is clean and tidy, but without water. Overall impression - satisfied.

First the positives: Friendly helpful staff, spacious comfortable rooms and good location by the river and close to historic town centre. A good hotel. But the lack of parking is a major drawback. This was compounded by the appalling state of the underground public car park outside the hotel entrance. It was easily the filthiest car park I've been forced to use in recent times. The stairs and lift shaft stank of urine and the lift itself was covered in graffiti. Given that's there's no real alternative to guests who may be travelling with heavy luggage, it's a major drawback. The hotel staff were sympathetic but explained that the car park was privately operated. They should be asking the car park operators to hose it down on a daily basis.

Great location with clean sizable modern rooms. Easily accessible to many great sites and restaurants. Front desk staff Pierre-Luc was absolutely phenomenal. Had great knowledge of the areas attractions as well as historical landmarks and restaurant/dining options. On the down side parking is in an adjacent below ground ramp with no elevator and no nearby street or front area of the hotel to pull up and drop your bags off. Overall, a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again.
