HORUS in Fréjus, open June–September.
Horus sits along the Côte d'Azur in Fréjus, commanding views of the Mediterranean and the Esterel Massif's red rock formations.
This 4-star hotel property offers direct beach access and terraced gardens that slope toward the water, creating natural amphitheater sightlines for ceremonies.
The venue combines accommodation facilities with event spaces designed for intimate to mid-sized celebrations along France's sun-soaked southern coast.
We arrived from Germany at the hotel with three adults middle of August 2025. The hotel is located just outside from Frejus, which is an ancient Roman town. The rooms were sufficient with a very nice bathroom and WC. We stood there for 9 days and the owner is very helpful. He booked us a table at a close by tennis club with a swimming pool. If you eat a small lunch there, you can use the pool free of charge for as long as you want. You also have plenty of very clean beaches close by and Cannes, St. Tropez and St. Aygulf are easy to reach, or you could even make a day trip to Monaco on the A8 in about 90 minutes. Shops like supermarkets, gas stations etc. are close by. You can enjoy wonderful sunrises in the morning from your hotelroom windows. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much.

Asked along the way.
Can we have a beachfront ceremony?+
Yes. Horus offers seaside ceremony setups on the private beach section with views of the Esterel mountains. Sunset timing is popular for ceremonies between May and September.
What's the guest capacity?+
Indoor and outdoor spaces accommodate 20 to 150 guests depending on configuration. Ceremonies typically host 30–100, with reception layouts flexible for your group size.
Are accommodations included or separate?+
Guest rooms are booked separately but held at negotiated wedding rates. Having 60+ rooms on-site means most attendees can stay without seeking external hotels.
What's the best season for a wedding here?+
May through October offers reliable sunshine, calm seas, and 18–26°C temperatures. June and September are particularly popular—warm but not peak summer crowds.
Can we customize menus and catering?+
The hotel's culinary team works with couples on Mediterranean-inspired menus. Wine pairings from regional producers and dietary accommodations are standard.
