Hamam Oriental Suites occupies a restored 19th-century Ottoman building in Rethymno's historic old town, originally constructed as a traditional hammam bathhouse before its thoughtful conversion into a luxury hotel in 2008.
The renovation preserved original architectural elements—arched ceilings, stone walls, and decorative tilework—while introducing modern amenities, creating a venue where centuries-old Cretan charm meets contemporary hospitality.
Set on Nikiforou Foka Street, it serves as both accommodation and event space for destination celebrations.
Great location! The room had a great AC, jacuzzi bathtub (maybe not so great for our taller folks), coffee/hot water machines, panini press, and dishes. It was such a comfortable stay overall. At night, it can be slightly noisy because it’s near the town square.
