Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach in Baja Sardinia, open May–August.
Perched on the crystalline waters of the Costa Smeralda, Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach commands sweeping Mediterranean vistas from its clifftop position in Baja Sardinia.
White sand beaches and turquoise coves frame the property, while the Tyrrhenian Sea stretches endlessly toward the horizon.
The hotel's 4.4-star rating reflects its reputation as a sophisticated coastal venue for intimate celebrations.
Lovely accommodation. Spotlessly clean and brilliant service by all the staff. Beach facilities excellent, especially given beach chairs and umbrellas were included in price. Hot breakfast items disappointing. Not always hot enough. Scrambled eggs either solid or sloppy. More egg choices would be good. Given nearest supermarket quite a walk, it would be so helpful if hotel bars sold snacks (crisps, nuts, sandwiches, ice creams etc) throughout the day. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't provide this service.
