We really enjoyed the location of the hotel — just a 25–30 minute drive from the airport, right by the beach, and set in a peaceful area. The rooms were a good size and came stocked daily with a kettle, tea, coffee, and sugar. On our first day, we even received complimentary bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch. The layout is very convenient, with the reception, pool, and beach all just a short walk apart. There are two adult pools and one children’s pool, plus plenty of sunbeds around the pool, in the courtyard, and on the beach. The beach sunbeds also come with umbrellas and are free to use for the hotel guests, so there was never any need to rush out early to reserve a spot. Pool towels and in-room safes are available for a €10 refundable deposit. Between the pool and the beach, there’s a restaurant serving food and drinks at reasonable prices, which was very handy. Breakfast is buffet-style with a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit, hot and cold dishes, local specialties, cereals, breads, and cakes — we really loved it. The staff were excellent throughout our stay, especially Magda at reception. When we asked to change from a twin room to a double, she arranged it within an hour. We also reported an unpleasant smell in our bathroom, which was dealt with straight away — the service couldn’t be faulted. There are a few supermarkets within a 5–6 minute walk from the hotel, and even one just outside the entrance selling wine, snacks, drinks, sun cream, and more at good prices. Most evenings, we went out for dinner (about a 10–15 minute walk) where we found plenty of great restaurants offering generous portions at reasonable prices. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Elea Beach and would highly recommend it!
