Desa Potato Head in Seminyak, open June – August, October.
A beachfront village on Petitenget Beach rather than a hotel, and the one venue in this collection where the party is the point.
Potato Head began as the beach club with the amphitheatre facade of reclaimed teak window shutters, then added Katamama, 57 suites in hand-made bricks by the Indonesian architect Andra Matin, and Potato Head Studios by OMA.
Together they hold 226 rooms and a set of spaces that read as a small town: Sunset Park on the roof, the beach club on the sand, Kaum and Ijen for dinner, the Dome for a covered reception, and Studio Eksotika, a listening room with thousands of records.
Weddings run to 150 in the normal configuration, and a full village buyout is quoted for 150 to 300.

Asked along the way.
How many guests can Desa Potato Head hold?+
Wedding packages are quoted to 150 guests in the normal configuration. Above that the events team quotes a full village buyout, which is offered for parties of roughly 150 to 300 and takes over the beach club, the restaurants and the rooftop together.
Which spaces do weddings actually use?+
Sunset Park on the roof for ceremonies and cocktails, the beachfront restaurant and beach club for a sand-side dinner, and Kaum or the Dome when the reception needs a roof. Most couples run the ceremony upstairs and the party down at beach level.
Is the beach club open to the public during a wedding?+
Unless you buy out the village, yes. Potato Head is one of Bali’s busiest beach clubs with its own music programme, so confirm in writing what else is scheduled on your date and how your ceremony sound is protected from the club sound.
Can guests stay on site?+
Yes. Katamama holds 57 suites and Potato Head Studios adds the rest of the 226 rooms, so a 150-guest party can sleep in the village. Seminyak also has the deepest supply of nearby hotels and villas of anywhere in this collection.
How far in advance should we book?+
The venue asks for 6 to 12 months for the best chance at a specific date, with a 50 percent deposit on contract and the balance 30 days before the event. Dry-season Saturdays go first, and a village buyout needs longer than a standard package.
How far is it from the airport?+
Ngurah Rai International (DPS) is about 40 minutes north in normal traffic, roughly 15 km, and can take an hour in the late afternoon. Seminyak traffic is the slowest of any venue in this collection, so build in margin on the wedding morning.
