Corissia BeachHotel

We stayed at Corissia Beach Hotel in Crete for 7 nights together with my husband and our two-year-old son, and so far it has been one of the most welcoming hotels we have ever experienced. From the very first moment, the entire staff stood out and by that I really mean extremely polite, warm, and professional. This is exactly the famous Greek hospitality everyone talks about, and here you truly feel it every single day. The food was excellent. We had half board (breakfast and dinner), and during our 7-day stay the menu changed daily. This is not the typical “mass all-inclusive” style that many people expect it is much more refined. Nothing is missing, but you won’t find ten different dishes that all taste the same. Instead, everything is thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. Every evening there was an outdoor chef preparing fresh grilled dishes such as souvlaki, seafood pasta, and other specialties. Daily, there were at least 3–4 carefully prepared main courses, always very fresh. On some days, baby octopus was even served as a starter, which was a lovely surprise. There was also a great variety of fresh, beautifully presented salads, fruits, and desserts, and soup was available every evening as well. Drinks are included only at breakfast and not at dinner, but this was absolutely fine for us and did not affect our experience at all. Another big plus was the free airport pick-up and drop-off, which made traveling with a small child much easier. Upon departure, we also received a small gift from the hotel a bottle of olive oil 🤍 which we found extremely thoughtful and a lovely personal touch. Any issue or request we had was handled calmly and professionally, making us feel very well taken care of. The fact that the sun loungers are free was also a huge bonus and, honestly, quite impressive. In addition, the hotel organizes a different event every evening, such as live music, Greek nights, and other themed evenings, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere without being overwhelming. Overall, Corissia Beach exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a place where you feel genuinely welcomed, relaxed, and appreciated especially as a family. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, authenticity, and true Greek hospitality. And lastly a huge thank you to everyone who was part of our experience 🤗
