This boutique hotel was absolutely stunning and one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed in. We booked the ‘Sponges’ suite as there was 4 of us in total. Huge balcony with stunning lemon, fig trees and pretty gardens. Love the quality, antique furniture, decent towels and exceptional bed linen. Air conditioning worked well. Delicious breakfast. Excellent location as 10 mins walk from the port and restaurants, tavernas. Leonard Cohens house about 10 minute walk away from the hotel. We were greeted by Giannis who was so helpful as told us his restaurant and beach recommendations which was brilliant! You need to get a boat from the port to most of the beaches on the island which are well worth visiting. This island was stunning, loved the architecture, plants, beaches, sunsets, food, the local people and this hotel. We would book this hotel again if we ever come back to Hydra.
