Incredible place for a wedding as it's miles from anywhere. We were there for niece's wedding and as you were outside for the wholeday in 34° heat we were trying to find as much shade as possible. The grounds are lovely and the food was amazing. Lots of individual stations with all things fishy, meats, cheese and breads then 2 starters of pasta, then sea bass and potatoes then all the different sweet stations! 🐖 🐷 only issue was lack of toilet facilities. Staff were wonderful

07 · Questions

Asked along the way.

Can we have a religious ceremony at Convento dell'Annunciata?+

The venue itself is a functioning convent with deep religious heritage. Civil ceremonies occur on-site. For Catholic or religious blessings, you'll need to arrange separately with the convent or a nearby church; Verona has numerous options within 50km.

Is there accommodation at the venue?+

No rooms are available on-site, but Medole and surrounding villages offer numerous hotels, agriturismos, and B&Bs within a short drive. Many guests choose Verona (50km) for wider selection.

What if it rains?+

The convent offers plenty of covered spaces and indoor halls, so weather does not prevent the event from proceeding as planned.

When can we book a wedding?+

The venue operates May through October. November through April bookings are not available.

Do we have to use the venue's caterer?+

No. You select your caterer from a supplied list of approved vendors, giving you flexibility in menu and cuisine style.
