01 · In a sentence

Convento San Bernardino in Montefranco, open JuneSeptember.

Perched in the Umbrian hills of Montefranco, Convento San Bernardino commands sweeping views across the Tiber Valley from its elevated position.

This restored 14th-century convent blends stone architecture with surrounding olive groves and woodland, creating a dramatic backdrop where ceremonies unfold against layered horizons.

The property's hilltop location and classical Italian countryside setting provide an authentic regional experience rather than a manufactured event space.

After hustle & bustle of Pisa and Florence, this is a great place to unwind and relax. Drive down narrow roads to get here a bit daunting, but location is beautiful. Balcony looks out into neighboring village. Room are VERY clean & modern. Vanessa was extremely helpful with local resturaunts & tourist attractions (including discounts).
