Superb location, close to coffee shops, restaurants, the acropolis, the promenade and much more. The vibe is very chill unlike the main Monastraki square. Service was excellent from the door staff to reception, spa and cleaning team, very much appreciated the friendly service. Rooms were very clean with daily maintenance, nice shower pressure etc We didn't get a room of the acropolis and high street but rather of other buildings (which was fine) however since you are facing other buildings they can look into your room of you have the curtains open. I wish theybjad thinner sheer/light filtering/privacy curtains available so we could let light in with privacy. The gym is mediocre and not very private, equipment is a little pointless, looks like it's more for aesthetics then functionality. I'm not sure if the pictures or text has been changed yet but it's important to note there is no rooftop/pool. We booked knowing this but some people may get the wrong idea. One other notable perk is the free steam/sauna. WiFi was generally good but there were random periods where you'd get poor connectivity.

Below is a detailed, positive review highlighting why this hotel is a standout choice in the heart of Athens Exceptional Dining and Rooftop Views The culinary experience at Coco-mat Athens BC is a highlight for food lovers. Farm-to-Table Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is extensive, offering traditional Greek delicacies like koulouri, freshly squeezed orange juice, and eggs made to order. It’s an ideal spot for a sunset cocktail or a high-end Mediterranean dinner Unbeatable Location and Historical Depth The location is simply peerless for any traveler wanting to be in the center of history. Situated directly across from the Acropolis Museum, the hotel serves as a perfect launchpad for exploring the Parthenon, the Plaka district, and Monastiraki, all of which are within a short walking distance. This hotel was fantastic, what makes it stand out are the staff. Breakfast was amazing, coffees are smooth and creamy. Everyone was so kind, helpful and professional, a special mention was Katrina on the reception evening shift, she knew all the best restaurant recommendations which were all excellent, she even booked our tables making the experience effortless. If you need a food recommendation you must seek her out, she’s the best and so nice. Location is also a massive win, it’s right next to the acropolis and all major sites, you can walk everywhere you need to from here. 10/10 would stay here again!
