Chablé Yucatán in Chocholá, open February – May.
Chablé was built on a nineteenth-century hacienda at Chocholá, about 25 minutes west of Mérida, and it is the most designed of the Yucatán estates.
The old casa principal and the ruined chapel were kept and everything else is new work by the Mexican architect Jorge Borja, dropped into forest that was left standing.
There are 38 free-standing casitas, each with its own pool, plus two three-bedroom presidential casitas and larger villas.
The cenote is the centre of the property: the spa is built around it and there is a deck over the water used for Mayan ceremonies and blessings.

Chablé publishes no wedding pricing. The total is a single planner-reported figure and was not confirmed with the resort; the per-head and room figures are estimated from the property tier. The resort quotes rooms in US dollars and local vendors in pesos, so both appear here.

February – May
The 4 months the weather is kindest. Shoulder dates soften the light and the rates.
Figures are estimates, modeled from regional rates and public sources, not a quote from the venue. Once the venue claims this page, their own rates take precedence.
Asked along the way.
How many guests can Chablé Yucatán hold?+
The resort positions weddings around 100 guests and sources report celebrations up to about 150 with a full buyout. It is not a venue for 200. Aisle records the bookable range as 20 to 150; confirm with the resort, because the number depends on which gardens you take.
Can we marry at the cenote?+
Yes. The cenote deck sits in the middle of the wellness spa and is used for Mayan ceremonies, blessings and vow renewals. It is an intimate space rather than a full ceremony venue, so most couples use it for a private ritual and marry in the chapel ruin or the gardens.
Can our guests all stay on site?+
The resort has 38 casitas plus presidential casitas and villas, so a party of 70 to 80 fits with sharing. Beyond that, couples block hotels in Mérida, 25 minutes east, and run coaches. Chocholá itself has no hotels of this standard.
What does a wedding at Chablé cost?+
The resort publishes no wedding rates. One planner-reported figure puts a 150-guest wedding with fireworks near $140,000 USD. That figure is reported, not confirmed with the property, and it sits at the top of the range for a Yucatán wedding.
How do guests get to Chocholá?+
Mérida International (MID) is about 40 minutes away and takes direct flights from Miami, Houston, Dallas and Mexico City. Cancún is roughly four hours by road and is only worth it if guests are combining the wedding with the Caribbean coast.
